I am a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Focusing on improving self-esteem and embracing imperfection, I will help empower you to repair and deepen your connections with yourself, your loved ones, and your past.

I view the therapeutic alliance as a privilege not to be taken lightly. Connecting with clients is one of my greatest joys, and my approach is warm, compassionate, and respectful. I will work with you to identify your strengths and goals, fortify your relationships, and achieve a more fulfilling life.
Having worked in mental health since 2013, I am continuously learning and growing. I strive to stay current with racial and social justice movements, and establish a practice in which my clients can feel safe to express themselves without fear of judgment.
When not in the therapeutic environment, you will find me outside hiking, swimming, and spending time with friends, family, and my dog. My intention is to be my authentic self both in and out of session.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
I hold a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. Prior to earning that, I attended Oregon State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in human development. I have also completed professional training in Collaborative Problem Solving, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Play Therapy, and the Gottman Method.
THEORETICAL APPROACH & METHOD
I recognize and cater to the unique needs of each client. First and foremost, I am a client-centered, humanistic therapist; it is my belief we are all trying to do the best we can with what we have. My approach is strengths-focused, rather than problem-focused. I utilize a variety of interventions and orientations to aid in treatment, including cognitive-behavioral, acceptance commitment, solution focused, and experiential therapies.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
My expertise lies in treating adults (18+) who are working to recover from trauma, anxiety, and depression. In doing so, I assist clients in improving their communication skills, self-esteem, and personal boundaries. I am an avid supporter and ally of the LBGTQ+ community, and specialize in working with sexual and gender identity.
